This success has empowered Estoty to take on larger-scale projects, expanding its creative vision and pushing the boundaries of gameplay and storytelling.

Role

We are looking for a Unity Developer to support and evolve our released games. The role focuses on porting games to new platforms, keeping different versions in sync, fixing platform-specific issues, and developing small features and prototypes for marketing needs.

Responsibilities

• Port games to new platforms: port VR titles from Meta Quest to SteamVR, PlayStation VR2, and Pico, including Chinese versions; port PC games to PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo platforms;
• Keep platforms in sync: transfer new content, features, and updates from the main version to other platform builds;
• Handle platform-specific requirements: fix platform-related bugs, update SDKs, prepare builds, and support the certification process;
• Implement localization: integrate and maintain localized versions across platforms;
• Build marketing features and prototypes: develop small, focused features based on marketing requests: characters, animations, UI elements, scenes for trailers and social media, as well as playable builds for playtests and promotional activities;
• Work across multiple projects: quickly switch between tasks ranging from long-term porting work to short-term requests, such as preparing a specific build for a video within a few days.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial experience with Unity and C#;
• Experience contributing to the release of at least one game;
• Ability to quickly understand and work with an existing codebase and make changes without breaking the project;
• Strong independence and adaptability, with the ability to switch between different projects and types of tasks;
• A practical, solution-oriented approach and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience developing VR games with Unity;
• Experience releasing games on consoles or multiple VR platforms, including familiarity with certification requirements and processes;
• Experience working with Chinese platforms, stores, or regional builds;
• Experience with platform-specific SDKs and technical requirements.
