Unity Game Developer AI-Augmented

As a Unity Game Developer at Nukebox Studios, you will be a core contributor to our game projects, owning complex systems end-to-end and raising the technical bar for the entire team. Beyond strong Unity and C# expertise, you actively leverage AI tools (including agentic AI workflows) to accelerate development, debug faster, and build smarter. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including designers, artists, and other developers, to deliver exceptional gaming experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement Game Features and Mechanics using Unity.
• Develop and maintain clean, efficient, and reusable code with Detailed documentation for Unity applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance on various platforms.
• Identify and resolve bugs and technical issues to maintain the games stability.
• Use AI coding assistants (Copilot, Claude, Cursor) daily and leverage agentic AI workflows for debugging, test generation, and code automation.
• Mentor junior developers on AI tool adoption and champion technical documentation & unit testing.
• Exceptional problem-solving: diagnose complex cross-system bugs and drive them to resolution.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Game Development with shipped Unity titles
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field
• Proficiency in C#, C++ & Unity
• Hands-on daily use of AI coding tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor) & understanding of agentic AI workflows
• Exceptional problem-solving & debugging skills (will be tested in interview)
