Unix / Linux Implementation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support and maintain Unix/Linux operating systems, including Oracle Enterprise Linux
  • Manage and support KVM virtualization environments
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolution of high-priority incidents
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes
  • Ensure SLA compliance and proactive escalation management
  • Design and implement automated OS build and deployment processes
  • Use Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt or similar tools for configuration management
  • Develop infrastructure automation using Terraform / CloudFormation
  • Automate repetitive operational activities
  • Monitor system performance and support capacity planning
  • Support disaster recovery activities and recovery drills
  • Follow strict Change Control Management processes
  • Prepare technical documentation, SOPs and knowledge articles
  • Participate in service review meetings and stakeholder discussions
  • Support/lead infrastructure implementation and improvement projects
