Unreal Developer

White Tusker Pvt Ltd. is looking for a passionate and skilled Unreal Engine Developer to join our talented team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing interactive 3D experiences, gameplay mechanics, and software architecture using Unreal Engine 5 [or 4]. You will collaborate closely with game designers, 3D artists, and QA testers to translate creative visions into seamless, high-performance interactive experiences. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of C++, Unreal Blueprints, and 3D mathematics, along with a strong problem-solving mindset.

Job Description:

• Core Responsibilities: Developing gameplay mechanics, debugging complex logic, optimizing frame rates and memory, and building custom tools to support artists and designers.
• Key Technical Skills: Expert-level C++, deep knowledge of Unreal Engine (Blueprints, physics, AI, materials), strong 3D mathematics, and version control (Perforce/Git).
• Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams to translate creative visions into seamless, high-performance real-time applications.

Skills:

• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years specifically working with Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5).
• Programming Skills: Exceptional proficiency in C++ and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Unreal Expertise: Deep understanding of the Unreal Engine ecosystem, including Blueprints, animation systems, physics, AI (Behavior Trees/NavMesh), and the material system.
• Mathematics: Strong grasp of 3D math (linear algebra, vectors, matrices, and quaternions).
• Version Control: Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Perforce, Git, SVN, or Plastic SCM.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug complex rendering, memory, or logic issues.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a collaborative, agile environment.
