Upfit Technician

Position The Upfit Technician is responsible for the consistent and quality upfit installations of truck accessories and service repairs on various truck bodies.

Responsibilities

• Complete consistent and quality installs of truck accessories. Including but not limited to lift gates, shelving units, toolboxes, body components and lighting systems.
• Complete custom service repairs on commercial vehicles and flatbeds.
• service repairs on truck bodies.
• Document the cause and corrections for all repairs.
• Fabricating custom mounting brackets.
• Read and follow detailed work orders, installation drawings, blueprints, etc.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma or Experience.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and have basic math knowledge.
• Ability to use Crane and hoists.
• Ability to use power tools and machinery.
• Auto Mechanical Experience (Preferred).
• Welding, Hydraulic and Electrical Experience (Preferred).
