Job Title: UPFITTER/FABRICATOR

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Upfitter/Fabricator to join our team, responsible for customizing and installing various vehicle and equipment modifications. This role involves hands-on work with installing dump beds, flat beds, water truck beds, lubrication/fuel beds, wet kits, tarp systems, camera systems, and other related components. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality installations that meet safety and operational standards.

Duties

• Install a variety of vehicle modifications including dump beds, flat beds, water truck beds, and lubrication/fuel beds.
• Set up and integrate wet kits, tarp systems, camera systems, and other auxiliary equipment onto vehicles.
• Perform mechanical tasks involving the assembly, fitting, and securing of components to ensure proper functionality.
• Conduct inspections to verify the quality of installations and troubleshoot any issues that arise during or after the installation process.
• Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete fabrication tasks with precision.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to promote safety for oneself and others.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet customer specifications.

Experience

• Proven experience in upfitting or fabricating vehicles or related mechanical work is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and installation instructions.
• Hands-on experience with installing various vehicle systems such as dump beds, water trucks, wet kits, tarp systems, and camera systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure precise installations.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
