Upholsterer – Marine, Commercial and Domestic Upholstery

Trim FX is an established automotive and marine trimming business, specialising in quality interior and upholstery work across a wide range of vehicles and marine applications.

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Upholsterer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys working with their hands and wants to be part of a quality-focused workshop.

The Role

As an Upholsterer at Trim FX, you’ll work on a variety of exciting commercial & marine projects, including:

• Marine seating, cushions and upholstery
• Custom upholstery and interior projects
• Removing and installing upholstery and trim
• Cutting, shaping and fitting foam and padding
• Cutting and fitting fabrics, vinyls and leather
• Sewing and producing quality finished pieces
• Repairing and restoring existing upholstery
• Working from measurements, patterns and templates
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience in upholstery. Automotive and marine covers and clears experience would be a bonus but not essential
• Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship
• Has strong attention to detail
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Is reliable, punctual and has a positive attitude
• Has good hand skills and enjoys practical, hands-on work
• Can work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of finish
• Is keen to learn and develop their skills

Experience in automotive or marine trimming is highly regarded, but we’re also open to experienced upholsterers from other areas of the industry.
