• Explain concepts clearly and help students develop strong scientific reasoning, application and answering skills.
• Prepare and adapt lesson materials, activities and assessments where required.
• Track students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and the centre.
• Create a positive classroom where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.
• Prepare students confidently for school examinations and, where applicable, the PSLE.

Who We’re Looking For

• Diploma/Degree in Science, Education or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the MOE Science syllabus.
• Teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
• Able to explain Science in a way that makes sense to students of different abilities.
• Patient, responsible, encouraging and genuinely passionate about teaching.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Available to teach evenings and/or weekends.
