Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and deliver outstanding customer service through active communication and attentive listening.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling.
• Assist customers with shipping services, including packaging, label creation, and product demos to explain options clearly.
• Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising products attractively, and conducting inventory checks to ensure product availability.
• Promote upselling opportunities by recommending additional services or products that meet customer needs.
• Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing information about store services.
• Supervise daily store activities when needed, including supervising staff or assisting in training new team members.
• Handle cash drawer responsibly with accurate retail math calculations and reconcile cash at shift end.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales or cashiering with familiarity using POS systems.
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership and team coordination skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual settings is desirable.
• Knowledge of retail store product offerings, merchandising techniques, and inventory management.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail transactions.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions.
• Experience conducting product demos or upselling is advantageous.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as required for stocking tasks.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
