Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using advanced POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted precisely.
• Provide expert recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards typical of fine dining establishments.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, promptly addressing any concerns or special needs.
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and proper table clearing to uphold cleanliness standards in a sophisticated setting.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and host/hostess team to ensure seamless service flow during busy hours.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a server in upscale or fine dining restaurants; nightclub or high-end hospitality experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for efficient order processing.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations gracefully.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours without compromising service quality.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques.
