UPW Flushing Technician

Position overview

Ascenzi & Associates LLC is recruiting three personnel to support a client’s ultrapure water (UPW) system flushing activities. Basic piping experience is required. The client’s superintendent, engineering personnel, and PM will direct onsite work.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare piping systems and assist with flushing setup under approved procedures.
• Assist with authorized hose and piping connections and equipment staging.
• Observe assigned flushing activities and promptly report unusual conditions.
• Protect system cleanliness and help complete flushing records where required.
• Follow the client’s work instructions and site safety requirements.

Required qualifications

• Basic experience working with piping systems and common fittings or connections.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and communicate with site supervisors.
• Ability to complete project screening and onboarding.

Preferred experience

• Experience with UPW systems, industrial water piping, flushing, or testing.

Assignment notes

Davis-Bacon-covered onsite assignment. Ascenzi is using the $72.15/hour journeyman pipefitter package as its proposed staffing pay rate for this posting; the applicable classification for flushing work has not been established. Confirm the final pay commitment before publication.
