About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Upwork Specialist to manage our Upwork presence, identify relevant projects, generate leads, and win new clients through effective bidding and communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the company’s Upwork profile.
• Research and identify relevant projects based on our services and expertise.
• Submit customized, client-focused proposals for suitable projects.
• Analyze job postings to determine project requirements and potential opportunities.
• Communicate with prospects and respond to client messages professionally.
• Follow up with potential clients and maintain ongoing conversations.
• Maintain records of proposals, leads, responses, interviews, and conversions.
• Monitor Upwork trends, competitors, and market opportunities.
• Coordinate with the technical team to prepare accurate proposals and project responses.
• Meet monthly targets for proposals, qualified leads, interviews, and client acquisition.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as an Upwork Specialist, Upwork Bidder, or Business Development Executive.
• Proven experience in Upwork bidding and lead generation.
• Strong proposal-writing and communication skills.
• Good understanding of IT/software development services.
• Ability to identify high-quality and relevant projects.
• Strong research, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• Target-oriented and self-motivated.
• Experience working with a software house or digital agency is preferred.
