Duties

• Assist bakers with preparing donuts, kolaches, rolls, and other baked products.
• Prepare ingredients, fillings, icings, and toppings for daily production.
• Cut, shape, portion, and organize dough as directed by the baker.
• Help package and organize finished products for display and storage.
• Wash, sanitize, and maintain all kitchen equipment, utensils, trays, and workstations.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift.
• Receive, organize, rotate, and store ingredients using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
• Dispose of waste properly and maintain a clean work environment.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties.
• Support the production team during busy periods and complete additional duties assigned by management.

Skills

• Experience assisting with donut and kolache production.
• Familiarity with commercial bakery equipment and kitchen tools.
• Knowledge of inventory organization and ingredient storage.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.

Required Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced food production environment.
• Basic knowledge of bakery operations, food preparation, and kitchen sanitation.
• Understanding of food safety and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work early morning, overnight, weekends, and holiday shifts as needed.
• Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
