We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our offshore team.

Overview

The Quantity Surveyor role focuses on estimation, project take-offs, and field communication for domestic and commercial projects. Work will primarily involve commercial and residential buildings. Though other construction trades may be included.

The role involves:

• Gathering and reviewing tender package data
• Preparing accurate estimates of materials, quantities, and labor
• Ensuring profitability through correct pricing
• Analyzing project drawings and specifications
• Communicating with clients to clarify project requirements
• Sourcing pricing from suppliers
• Collaborating with internal project managers for smooth project execution
• Preparing as-built plans, drawings, and designs based on client specifications
• Raising RFIs and clarifications as necessary

This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote setup.

• Administration Reporting: VA Lead Account
• Functional Reporting: Lead QS

General Duties & Responsibilities

Estimation:

• Gather, compile, and review tender package data
• Prepare accurate estimates of activities and quantities for tender projects based on drawings and specifications
• Ensure project profitability through accurate pricing

Project Take-Off:

• Analyze project drawings and specifications
• Ensure all quantity surveying activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies
• Liaise with clients to clarify project requirements

Other Duties:

• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
• Comply with all reasonable instructions issued by the employer

Educational / Professional Requirements

• BS Engineering Graduate in Civil, Hydraulics, or Mechanical disciplines (Licensed)
• Relevant certifications/diplomas in Carpentry or Construction are an advantage

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry with International experience required.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Planswift, AutoCAD, or similar software
• Strong knowledge of civil works and electrical installation activities for residential and commercial projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Above-average written and verbal English communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and mathematical aptitude
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong commitment to customer service and timely follow-ups
• Positive “can-do” attitude
• High sense of responsibility, dependability, work ethics, and integrity

• Own and backup laptop/desktop (minimum i5 processor) with dual monitor setup
• Stable internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps)
• Backup power source

• Dedicated, quiet workspace
• Knowledge of data privacy and secure file handling practices
