URGENT: Senior Copier Technician - Immediate Start Available

About the role

This is a field service position. The technician will be required to travel to customer locations for on-site servicing, troubleshooting and repair of photocopiers and multifunction printer (MFP) machines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform outdoor / on-site servicing and repair of photocopiers and MFP machines at customer locations.
• Attend to customer service calls and troubleshoot machine problems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical issues and carry out necessary repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and regular servicing of machines.
• Install, repair and replace machine parts and components when required.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers.
• Prepare service reports and record repair and maintenance activities.
• Travel to different customer locations for scheduled service calls.
• Coordinate with the office and service team regarding service schedules and machine repairs.
• Maintain good customer relationships and provide professional after-sales service.

About you

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience as a Copier Technician / Photocopier Technician / Printer Technician.
• Relevant experience in photocopier / MFP servicing, troubleshooting and repair is required.
• Experience with Canon, Ricoh, Sharp, or other photocopier brands will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Good problem-solving and technical skills.
• Willing to work outdoors and travel to customer sites for service calls.
• Willing to travel within Johor and surrounding areas when required.
• Possess a valid driving licence.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
