US Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking talented accounting professionals with hands-on experience in US Accounting who are eager to build a long-term, rewarding career in the US accounting domain. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting fundamentals, high attention to detail, and a willingness to work with US clients and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements
• Pass month-end and year-end journal entries
• Support financial review and management reporting
• Handle payroll compliance (Forms 940/941) and assist in sales tax filings
• Coordinate with clients for routine queries and ensure timely deliverables
• Monitor workflow for assigned clients and maintain quality standards
• Support onboarding of new clients and assist junior team members
• Identify and escalate accounting issues and discrepancies
• Participate in trainings and upskill on accounting tools

Candidate Requirements

• CPA , Chartered Accountant , or Semi-Qualified CA with a minimum of 3 years of articleship .
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles, including finalisation of accounts , reconciliations, and compliance.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the US Accounting and Taxation framework.
• Excellent analytical ability and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel ; experience with accounting and tax software will be an added advantage.
