US Accountant

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities for both US and Indian entities.
• Update and maintain books of accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Tally ERP/Online.
• Handle General Accounting, journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and management reports, including Consolidated Financial reports.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), including invoicing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and follow-ups.
• Perform Bank, Cash, AP, AR, and Intercompany reconciliations.
• Record and manage intercompany transactions with proper reconciliation and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Handle US sales tax filing and compliance for US-based entities.
• Prepare MIS reports and support management with financial analysis and reporting.
• Process payroll using ADP and HRM tools and maintain payroll-related records.
• Maintain accurate accounting documentation and proper record keeping.
• Independently manage both US and Indian books of accounts with minimal supervision.
