US Audit Professional

Seeking an audit senior with 2-5 (or more) years of recent public accounting experience with financial statement audits. CPA is a plus, but not required. Candidates must have strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Understand the firms policies and procedures.
• Possess technical knowledge sufficient to supervise staff accountants.
• Strong analytical skills
• Develop quality client relationships and loyalty As it pertains to financial statement engagements.
• Have command of GAAP; cash, tax, or other special purpose frameworks; unique o specialized accounting principles; and financial statement presentation
• Obtain a thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques.
• Assume responsibility for efficiently supervising both audit and non-audit engagements(reviews and compilations)
• Experience/knowledge of CCH engagemen
• Experience with risk assessment analysis in planning for audits
• Plan, supervise, and complete routine engagements
• Supervise staff, provide feedback to them, and evaluate their progress
