About the role
Accountant Offshore Inc. is looking for US Auditors to join our growing team supporting US-based CPA firms. This is a great opportunity for experienced local accounting and audit professionals who want to build a career in US accounting and auditing.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review working trial balances
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
- Perform account reconciliations and account analysis
- Prepare adjusting journal entries as needed
- Organize and maintain audit working papers and supporting documentation
- Assist in audit testing and other audit procedures
- Coordinate with managers and team members regarding audit requirements
- Perform other accounting and audit-related tasks as assigned
- Learn and apply US accounting and audit procedures through training and client exposure
About you
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, or a related field
- At least 3–4 years of external audit experience
- Strong experience in preparing Working Trial Balances (WTB)
- Hands-on experience preparing Financial Statements
- Strong understanding of general accounting, adjusting entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Audit firm or external audit experience is highly preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Willing to learn US GAAP and US audit processes
- CPA license is an advantage but not required
