Job Description

We are looking for experienced professionals for the role of US Collections Skip Trace – Team Lead to support US collections and debt recovery operations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in skip tracing, US collections processes, compliance, investigative research, and team coordination.

The candidate must be familiar with US regulations and compliance requirements while locating individuals with delinquent accounts and verifying their contact information.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support skip tracing activities for US collections operations.
• Use advanced skip tracing tools and databases such as LexisNexis, Accurint, CLEAR, and TLOxp to locate individuals.
• Conduct detailed research using public records, online databases, internet searches, and other available sources.
• Verify and analyse customer information, addresses, contact details, and employment data.
• Ensure compliance with US collection regulations, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and applicable data privacy requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of skip tracing activities, case updates, and investigation outcomes.
• Develop effective strategies for locating hard-to-find individuals and supporting debt recovery.
• Coordinate with collections, legal, and asset recovery teams.
• Monitor operational performance, prepare reports, and support team productivity and quality standards.
• Handle escalations and guide team members on research methods, documentation, and compliance practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in US collections, skip tracing, or related operations.
• Strong understanding of US collections processes and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of FDCPA and US data privacy regulations.
• Hands-on experience with skip tracing tools and online research databases.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and case management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records.
• Prior experience in team handling, workflow coordination, or performance monitoring is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with LexisNexis, Accurint, CLEAR, or TLOxp.
• Background in debt collection, financial services, legal support, or asset recovery.
• Experience handling US-based accounts and compliance-driven processes.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, or a related field is preferred.

Important Requirements

• Candidates must be comfortable working in the US night shift.
• Work from office is mandatory at Magarpatta City, Pune.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of up to 15 days are preferred.
• Mobile phones are not permitted on the production floor during working hours and must be kept in designated lockers.
