US Import Custom Data Entry Clerk

About the role

Hecny Forwarders Incorporated' is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented US Import Custom Data Entry to join our team in Cebu City Cebu. This full-time role is responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining data to support the efficient operations of our business. If you have experiences in forwarders or logistics, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

• Enter the information into the customs system based on the details provided in the documents.

• Verify the information in the import documents. If there are any discrepancies, confirm them with the customer or the exporting party.

• Proactively update your manager and team on work progress.

• Ensure data accuracy by cross-checking and verifying information

• Must be able to work independently, learn quickly, read emails and messages carefully, and respond promptly.

• Assist with other administrative tasks as required

• Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements

• Comply with office policies and regulations.

What we're looking for

Must have proven experience as a data entry specialist in custom, freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping companies.

• Excellent typing and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in using standard office software, such as Microsoft Office
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comply with company and office regulations.
• Fast learner
