Roles & Responsibilities

• Track, update, and maintain accurate cost basis records on behalf of Wealth Management clients.
• Resolve inquiry tickets and remediate discrepancies arising from inaccurate or missing cost basis records.
• Ensure accurate cost basis information to support compliance with IRS regulations and facilitate accurate 1099 tax reporting during the tax reporting season.
• Perform daily transaction processing while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Investigate discrepancies, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and resolve processing issues.
• Manage high-volume and complex day-to-day processing within defined service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Handle multiple tasks in a high-intensity environment while meeting delivery timelines.

Required Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in operations.
• Knowledge of US tax reporting, particularly 1099 reporting, US tax regulations, and cost basis regulations is preferred.
• Knowledge of corporate actions processing and settlements is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Strong learning mindset and willingness to develop subject-matter expertise.
• Proven ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency while processing high volumes of complex transactions.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver within tight SLAs.
