USG Technicians

• Patient care: Explaining the procedure, answering questions, and providing support
• Equipment preparation: Checking equipment, applying gel, and positioning patients
• Imaging: Capturing images, adjusting the scanner, and detecting abnormalities
• Reporting: Presenting images and findings to physicians, and writing reports
• Record keeping: Maintaining patient records and medical notes
• Safety: Following safety protocols and infection control procedures
• Collaboration: Working with other healthcare team members
• Education: Staying updated with new technologies and practices

Ultrasound technicians

• Use sonographic equipment to identify areas of concern
• Assist radiologists with vascular ultrasound procedures
• Report abnormalities to the appropriate medical staff
• Maintain the sonography equipment

Echocardiography technicians

• Perform echocardiograms to assess heart function
• Review and interpret preliminary results
• Record and store echocardiogram images and patient information
• Collaborate with cardiologists to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment
