We are seeking a Utilities Engineer to work Remote

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Utility Engineering SME to support a utility data system implementation for a large university campus.

The selected candidate will serve as the utility engineering domain lead, working closely with the solution architect, data engineers, and university utility and energy-management teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define utility asset frameworks, meter hierarchies, and data relationships.
• Establish Energy Use Intensity (EUI) calculation methodology.
• Validate meter data, multipliers, CT ratios, rollovers, and replacements.
• Review utility billing, charge-out, and cost-allocation rules.
• Review system configuration and technical design decisions.
• Support workshops, implementation activities, and acceptance testing.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in campus utilities, district energy, central utility plants, or energy management.
• Strong experience in submetering, meter-data validation, and utility billing.
• Knowledge of building automation trend data and AMI systems.
• PE license or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) credential.
• Ability to travel to Athens, Georgia, for workshops and acceptance testing.
