Utilities Engineer (Subic)

Role Purpose

• The Utilities Engineer is responsible for the overall management, operation, compliance, maintenance, and optimization of all utility systems within the facility, including electrical power, water distribution systems, Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), energy management programs, and sustainability initiatives.
• The role ensures uninterrupted utility services, regulatory compliance, cost efficiency, environmental stewardship, and achievement of organizational ESG and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Utilities Operations Management

Manage the operation, maintenance oversight, and reliability of all utility systems including:

• Electrical distribution systems
• Water supply and distribution networks
• Water Treatment Plant (WTP)
• Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)
• Sewer and drainage systems

2. Energy Management and Regulatory Compliance

• Serve as the focal person for energy management initiatives and compliance with applicable energy regulations and standards

3. Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Management

• Serve as the focal person for energy management initiatives and compliance with applicable energy regulations and standards

4. Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Management

• Manage the operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant

5. ESG and Sustainability Management

• Lead utility-related sustainability and ESG initiatives

6. Vendor and Contractor Management

• Act as primary liaison for utility service providers, consultants, and contractors

7. Project Management

• Lead utility-related projects from planning through implementation and turnover.

8. Reporting and Documentation

• Generate monthly utility performance reports.
• Maintain utility records, permits, compliance documents, and technical reports.
• Prepare management presentations and operational updates.
• Consolidate utility-related data for management review and decision-making.
• Ensure accurate document control and regulatory recordkeeping.

9. Stakeholder Support and Technical Advisory

• Provide technical support on utility-related concerns.

Job Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of BS Electrical Engineering
• Must be a licensed Electrical Engineer
• With minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in utilities, facilities management, energy management, water treatment, wastewater treatment, or industrial operations
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role
• Willing to be assigned in Subic, Zambales

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
