A growing heavy civil and site development contractor in the San Antonio area is seeking a Utilities Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an estimator looking to play a key role in pricing underground utility and sitework projects across Central and South Texas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and bid proposals for utility and sitework projects
• Review plans, specifications, and supporting bid documents
• Perform quantity take-offs for water, wastewater, storm sewer, and underground utility work
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities
• Work closely with operations and project management teams during bid preparation
• Assist with budgeting, proposal development, and bid submissions

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in heavy civil, underground utilities, or sitework construction
• Experience estimating water, sewer, storm drain, site development, or related civil construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and take-off software
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
