UTILITY & MAINTENANCE MAN

Job Summary:

The Utility & Maintenance Man is responsible for ensuring preventive maintenance and cleaning schedules for store equipment and facilities are implemented and on track. Acts as the primary point person coordinating and supervising third‑party service providers performing maintenance, servicing, and deep‑cleaning tasks. Performs routine light repairs and general upkeep in-store (e.g., replacing light bulbs, tightening cabinets, minor fixtures) to maintain a safe, functional, and presentable environment that supports daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preventive Maintenance & Cleaning Scheduling

• Maintain and monitor preventive maintenance calendars for equipment (airconditioning, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, plumbing, electrical, exhaust systems) and facilities cleaning cycles.

• Ensure scheduled maintenance and cleaning tasks are completed on time and documented.

1. Coordination with 3rd Party Providers

• Serve as the main point of contact for external contractors and service technicians.

• Schedule, brief, and supervise third‑party work; verify completion and quality against scope/SLA; escalate issues when necessary.

• Manage service paperwork: work orders, service reports, warranties, and receipts.

1. Light Repairs & General Upkeep

• Perform routine, minor repairs and adjustments (replace bulbs, tighten hinges/cabinets, patch minor damages, replace filters, basic plumbing/electrical troubleshooting within scope).

• Maintain basic tools, spare parts, and consumables inventory; request replenishment as needed.

1. Warehouse Management

• Maintain an active count of items stored in warehouse

• When necessary, move inventory or goods outside of storage into active use in branches

Qualifications:

• Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC awareness; hands‑on repair capability for small jobs.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Good communication and coordination skills for working with vendors and store teams.

• Reliable, proactive, able to prioritize work and respond to urgent maintenance needs.

Work Environment:

• 100% onsite work, able to move between branches for on-site check-ins
