The opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and conscientious Utility to join our cleaning services team at SUPER CANDY CORPORATION, based in Caloocan City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining our facilities to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. As a Utility, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout our premises, ensuring that all areas remain hygienic, tidy, and professional at all times. Your contributions will directly impact the health, safety, and satisfaction of everyone who uses our facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of floors, surfaces, and common areas
• Clean and sanitise bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and shower facilities
• Empty and replace rubbish bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness of break rooms, kitchens, and dining areas, including washing dishes and wiping down surfaces
• Clean windows, glass doors, and other transparent surfaces to maintain a bright and professional appearance
• Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively, including floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and pressure washers
• Restock cleaning supplies and report when supplies are running low
• Follow all health and safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
• Report any maintenance issues or damage to management promptly
• Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks as required

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in cleaning and utility services, ideally within a commercial or industrial setting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 kilograms regularly
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures carefully
• Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals, including safe handling procedures
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities and tasks
• A current health and safety certification or willingness to obtain one
