About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Utility professional to join our team at Blue Collar Manpower Services. This is a full-time position based in Cabuyao City, Laguna. As a Utility worker in the oil and gas engineering and maintenance sector, you will play a vital role in supporting day-to-day operations and maintaining essential infrastructure. You will contribute to ensuring smooth operational efficiency and workplace safety across our facilities and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspection of equipment, tools and machinery to ensure optimal operational condition
• Assist with the setup, operation and shutdown of equipment used in engineering and maintenance activities
• Support the installation and removal of temporary structures, scaffolding and safety equipment on work sites
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, storage facilities and equipment rooms
• Monitor and report on utility systems including water, electricity and fuel supplies
• Assist skilled technicians and engineers with their daily tasks and maintenance procedures
• Perform basic repairs and troubleshooting under supervision of senior personnel
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations at all times
• Transport and handle materials, tools and equipment safely across work sites
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a utility worker, maintenance assistant or in a similar general labour role within the oil and gas, engineering or industrial sector

• Strong understanding of basic safety protocols and health and safety regulations relevant to oil and gas operations

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour duties, including lifting, climbing and working at heights where applicable

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with common tools and equipment

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Reliability and commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance

• Relevant certifications such as OSHA or equivalent safety training (preferred)
