We are seeking a motivated and dependable Utility team member to join our dynamic food service environment. Duties

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to established recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas by regularly cleaning surfaces, equipment, and utensils following sanitation procedures
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and ensuring a tidy environment for guests
• Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to prevent contamination and uphold health regulations
• Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy supplies, organizing storage areas, and moving kitchen equipment safely
• Operate kitchen equipment including dishwashers, mixers, and other small appliances with proper technique and safety protocols
• Ensure proper food handling practices are followed at all times to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in accordance with food safety management guidelines

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques, sanitation practices, and kitchen safety standards is advantageous
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, including proper dishwashing procedures and sanitation requirements
• Experience working in catering or hospitality settings is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
