Utility Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Utility Coordinator to coordinate existing and proposed utility networks with road and infrastructure designs. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams, utility providers, authorities and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate existing and proposed underground and above-ground utilities.
• Review utility records, survey information and investigation data.
• Coordinate utility diversions, protection and relocation requirements.
• Prepare and review utility coordination drawings.
• Coordinate water, sewer, drainage, electrical, telecommunications and other utility services.
• Identify clashes between utilities and proposed infrastructure.
• Coordinate utility protection and diversion strategies.
• Liaise with utility authorities and stakeholders.
• Maintain utility schedules and coordination registers.
• Review utility proposals and technical submissions.
• Coordinate utility information with BIM and CAD teams.
• Track authority comments and coordinate responses.
• Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant utility/infrastructure experience.
• Strong utility coordination experience.
• Experience with road and infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Qatar/GCC experience is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
