Utility Foreman

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing construction schedules using construction management software to ensure timely project delivery.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to support project planning and execution.
• Coordinate with project managers and teams to supervise daily site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and construction regulations.
• Support crew management by supervising teams on-site, overseeing work quality, and maintaining safety standards in compliance with OSHA and federal safety regulations.
• Monitor project budgets, track costs, and assist in managing contracts to ensure projects stay within scope and budget constraints.
• Conduct quality control inspections and review construction drawings for accuracy before implementation.
• Utilize tools such as Ohmmeter for electrical testing and ensure proper use of construction safety equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction projects with a strong background in construction site supervision.
• Proficiency with construction management software.
• Solid understanding of construction scheduling, blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and project coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively, supervise crews, and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations, OSHA standards, and construction safety management practices.
• Experience with managing contracts, budgeting processes, and quality control procedures on large-scale projects.
• Strong communication skills for managerial oversight, team supervision, and client interactions.
• Construction site experience development is preferred.
