Utility Helper

Job Summary

The Utility Helper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall upkeep of the workplace. The role also provides general assistance to daily operations, including moving supplies, organizing materials, and performing other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the workplace, including offices, and common areas.
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disposing of garbage properly.
• Assist in loading, unloading, carrying, and transferring items or supplies as needed.
• Organize and arrange materials, equipment, and supplies in designated areas.
• Assist employees and other departments with basic operational tasks.
• Ensure cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and hazard-free environment.
• Report any damages, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards to the immediate supervisor.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• At least a High School Graduate.
• Preferably with experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or general utility work.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying items when necessary.
• Willing to perform various tasks and assist different departments.
• Hardworking, reliable, honest, and responsible.
• Able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, or overtime if required.
