Utility / Lot Technician (Full-Time), Rad Towing, Tri-Cities, WA

Rad Towing is a busy towing and recovery company in the Tri-Cities. We're hiring a dependable, hands-on Utility / Lot Technician whose main job is keeping the vehicles on our lot clean, presentable, and ready to sell. If you take pride in making a car look its best and like staying busy, we want to hear from you.

What you'll do

• Clean and detail lot vehicles. This is the core of the job: wash, vacuum, wipe down interiors, clear out trash and personal items, and get cars ready to show and sell.
• Detail and clean rental cars as needed.
• Clean out cars headed to auction and remove their license plates.
• Prep vehicles for our monthly auctions with photos and staging.
• Move and organize vehicles on the lot with a tow truck.
• Start lot cars periodically to keep them running; check fluids and tire pressures.
• Mount tires on fleet vehicles with the tire machine.
• Handle minor repairs and basic maintenance.
• Pull parts as needed.
• Help with building maintenance and repairs.
• Weed and keep the shop and lot organized, clean, and safe.
• Run light roadside calls such as jump starts, lockouts, and tire changes.
• Do vehicle inspections and keep records up to date.

What we're looking for

• Attention to detail and pride in your work.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Basic mechanical skills and comfort with tools.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work on your own.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather.
• Tow truck experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person.

Pay and schedule

• $20–$23 per hour depending on experience.
• Plus commission on roadside calls.
• Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
