Utility Maintenance

Core Responsibilities

• System Inspections: Conduct routine checks on water mains, sewer lines, gas valves, pumps, electrical panels, and facility HVAC units.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose mechanical malfunctions, fix pipeline leaks, repair faulty wiring, and replace worn-out valves or meters.
• Preventative Maintenance: Clean, lubricate, and service critical machinery and equipment to prevent service outages.
• Emergency Response: Respond rapidly to critical utility failures, such as water main breaks, power outages, gas leaks, or clogged sewage lines.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate specialized machinery, including excavators, utility trucks, power tools, and diagnostics equipment.
• Compliance & Logs: Record daily maintenance logs, monitor compliance with environmental and safety regulations, and track utility usage metrics.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or vocational training in industrial maintenance, plumbing, or electrical work.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in facility maintenance, public works, or a related trade.
• Licensing & Certifications: A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is often required; specific certifications in water/wastewater treatment or EPA HVAC handling are highly valued.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs), work outdoors in various weather conditions, and access confined spaces.

• Multidisciplinary Trades: Basic hands-on proficiency in plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs.
• Technical Literacy: Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and digital utility maps (such as GIS applications).
• Safety Mindset: Deep understanding of safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and confined-space safety.

Pay: From Php19,630.00 per month
