About the role

Arayat Doctors Hospital is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Utility / Maintenance Supervisor to join our housekeeping team in Arayat, Pampanga. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and facility maintenance throughout our hospital. As Utility / Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, supervise housekeeping staff, and ensure that all areas of the hospital meet strict infection control and safety standards. Your work is essential to creating a safe, welcoming environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure efficient completion of tasks
• Monitor cleanliness and sanitation standards across all hospital areas, including patient rooms, operating theatres, corridors, and common areas
• Ensure compliance with hospital infection control protocols and health and safety regulations
• Maintain and manage cleaning equipment and supplies inventory, placing orders when necessary
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and report maintenance issues to the appropriate departments
• Train and orient new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and use of equipment
• Address and resolve complaints or concerns from patients, visitors, and staff regarding facility cleanliness and maintenance
• Prepare reports on housekeeping operations, staffing, and budget utilisation
• Manage work schedules and ensure adequate coverage across all shifts
• Participate in waste management and environmental sustainability initiatives
