JOB PROFILE SUMMARY:

Utility supports maintenance and facility operations by performing a variety of general labor tasks, including cleaning and basic maintenance. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment and provides support across departments as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

The individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the job duties listed below.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties in production, toolroom, and office areas...
• Empty trash and recycling bins regularly.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, painting, minor repairs, equipment and maintenance cleaning.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
• Assist with special projects or tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Work Experience:

• 1+ years’ experience of related experience
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.

Education:

• High School degree
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Ability to use hand tools and cleaning equipment

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and time management skills
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Use of cleaning chemicals and tools
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
