Utility Pipe Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Utility/Pipe Laying Laborer to join our team. This role involves primarily pipe-laying activities, and other various tasks that require physical strength and stamina, as well as the ability to follow instructions and safety protocols. Duties

• Perform labor tasks related to pipe laying, including but not limited to loading and unloading materials, digging, locating existing utilities, checking grade of pipe laser, lifting, concrete invert construction, and carrying heavy items.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Assist in the assembly and installation of structures or piping as directed by supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risks on the job site.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.

Requirements

• Previous experience in pipe laying or skilled labor is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions accurately.
• Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to skilled labor tasks.
• A valid driver's license is required for this position.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
