Utility Relations Consultant – Large Load Development – Mississippi

About the role

Alpha Digital One is a private developer of large-load commercial and industrial projects. We are looking for a consultant with electric utility or cooperative experience to support early-stage site research and utility outreach in Mississippi.

What you will do

• Research electric service territories and infrastructure in Mississippi.
• Contact cooperatives and utilities to understand their process for serving new large loads.
• Use your industry knowledge to identify the right contacts and open conversations.
• Provide short weekly written updates.

Who we are looking for

• Experience with a Mississippi electric utility or cooperative — for example Entergy Mississippi, Mississippi Power, Cooperative Energy, an electric power association, or a TVA-served local utility.
• Background in engineering, system planning, staking, key accounts, member services, or economic development.
• Strong local industry relationships.
• Self-directed, clear communicator.
• Former and retired utility professionals are welcome.

Earning potential with completed projects: $150,000–$300,000+ per year. Bonuses are tied to completed projects and are not guaranteed; without a completed project, earnings are the hourly base only.
