UTILITY WORKER II - GAS

The City of Sealy is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of a fulltime Utility Worker II in the Gas Department. The Utility Worker II performs duties essential in operating and maintaining the City’s gas distribution system. This position will require some meter-reading and public contact, strenuous physical work outdoors, and some afterhours work. Minimum qualifications include: High School diploma or GED; a valid Texas Driver License and an acceptable driving record; must be able to obtain a Poly-fusion certification. At least (1) one year of laborer or general maintenance experience preferred.
