UX / Frontend Developer (React / Next.js)About the Role:

We are looking for a UX / Frontend Developer to design and build modern, responsive, and scalable web applications. This role combines user experience design and frontend engineering, requiring the ability to translate product requirements into user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready applications.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to understand product requirements and user needs.
• Create user journeys, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and UI designs using Figma.
• Design intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly experiences across desktop and mobile platforms.
• Develop and maintain web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Build reusable, scalable UI components using Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui.
• Convert approved UX designs into production-ready applications.
• Participate in solution design, estimation, code reviews, testing, and release activities.
• Take ownership of features from requirements through production deployment.

Required SkillsUX Design

• Experience creating user journeys, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Strong proficiency with Figma.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, usability, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Ability to translate product requirements into effective user experiences.
• Understanding of design systems and UI consistency.

Frontend Engineering

• 2+ years of frontend development experience.
• Strong experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui.
• Experience with Storybook and component-driven development.
• Experience building responsive and mobile-friendly applications.
• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience with Git, pull requests, and code review practices.
• Experience using Visual Studio Code.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, reusable component design, and state management.
• Good understanding of accessibility (WCAG), browser compatibility, and frontend performance optimisation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building and maintaining design systems.
• Experience creating and managing reusable component libraries.
• Experience optimising Core Web Vitals and frontend performance.
• Experience with UX research, usability testing, and user feedback analysis.
• Experience working in SaaS or product-led environments.
• Experience working with .NET Core, Azure-hosted applications and Azure DevOps delivery pipelines.
• Experience with Playwright or React Testing Library.
