UX/UI Design Intern (Remote Internship)

Overview

MyDoktora is looking for a passionate and creative UX/UI Design Intern to join our growing team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students or fresh graduates who want hands-on experience designing user-friendly digital products while collaborating with developers, marketers, and content creators.

As a UX/UI Design Intern, you'll help create engaging user experiences, intuitive interfaces, and visually appealing designs that improve the overall user journey. You'll gain real-world experience while building a strong portfolio under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing intuitive and user-friendly web and mobile interfaces.

• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows using Figma.

• Support user research and usability testing to improve user experience.

• Help maintain design consistency through reusable components and style guides.

• Collaborate with developers, marketing, and content teams to implement designs.

• Ensure responsive designs work across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

• Contribute ideas that improve usability, accessibility, and overall product experience.

• Design marketing materials such as social media graphics, banners, flyers, presentations, and other promotional assets when needed.

• Revise designs based on feedback and continuously improve user experience.

• Perform other design-related tasks assigned by the team.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Multimedia Arts, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and user-centered design.

• Familiarity with wireframing, prototyping, and responsive design concepts.

• Experience in Figma is required. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, or similar design tools is a plus.

• Understanding of typography, color theory, spacing, and layout principles.

• Willingness to learn modern design trends and best practices.

• Strong creativity with attention to detail.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Must be currently enrolled in a degree program that requires an internship or on-the-job training (OJT) as part of the curriculum.

• Portfolio showcasing personal, academic, or freelance projects is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating website or mobile app designs.

• Familiarity with HTML and CSS is a plus.

• Knowledge of design systems and reusable components.

• Experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

• Passion for healthcare technology and improving digital experiences.

Work Setup: Remote / Work-from-Home

Working Hours: 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM then 8:00 PM to 12:00 MN (Monday-Friday)
