UX/UI Designer (Experience Designer)

At Central Online, we are looking for an Experience Designer with strong product and customer experience thinking who can go beyond interface design execution.

You will be responsible for shaping end-to-end onsite experiences across our e-commerce platform — including new feature development, feature enhancement initiatives, and onsite content experiences across web and app. The role combines UX/UI design, customer journey thinking, user research, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver seamless, intuitive, and commercially impactful shopping experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive onsite experience design for new features, feature improvements, and onsite content pages across web and mobile platforms.
• Translate business goals, customer insights, and user pain points into intuitive, elegant, and conversion-focused experiences.
• Conduct primary user research activities such as user interviews, usability testing, journey mapping, behavioral analysis, and competitor benchmarking to identify customer needs and opportunity areas.
• Facilitate and coordinate cross-functional discovery sessions with Product, Business, Engineering, Content, and Marketing teams to define requirements, align priorities, and shape product direction.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that balance usability, aesthetics, scalability, and commercial objectives.
• Partner closely with Product Owners (POs) to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature scope.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality implementation and consistency between intended and delivered experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys, product discovery, engagement, and conversion through data-driven UX improvements.
• Help maintain and prioritize UX-related initiatives within the product backlog.
• Ensure design consistency by contributing to and utilizing design systems, interaction patterns, and UX best practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in UX/UI Design, Product Design, or Experience Design, ideally within e-commerce, marketplace, or digital product environments.
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX thinking, customer journey design, and UI execution across web and mobile products.
• Experience designing customer-centric digital experiences with strong understanding of usability, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Ability to conduct and synthesize primary user research into actionable design recommendations.
• Familiarity with discovery processes, workshop facilitation, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum product development environments.
• Proficiency in Figma and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in both Thai and English.
• Ability to balance customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints in decision-making.

Preferred Qualities

• Understanding of e-commerce UX best practices including product discovery, search, navigation, PDP, cart, checkout, personalization, and content-led experiences.
• Strong sense of ownership and customer empathy.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
