UX/UI Front-End Developer

Position: UX/UI Front-End Developer

Job Type: Contract, Yearly renewable

Location: Sharjah

Salary - 12 to 14

Responsible for user research, user experience and interface design, and front-end implementation for the client's web portals and e-services, ensuring bilingual (Arabic/English), accessible, and consistent user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and requirements workshops with the client's business users and service owners
• Produce user journeys, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes for the client's web and mobile services
• Establish and maintain an the client's design system and UI component library (bilingual/RTL)
• Develop responsive, accessible front-end code and integrate it with back-end services
• Ensure all new or changed interfaces meet WCAG 2.1 AA and applicable UAE Government design standards
• Plan and run usability tests; translate findings into prioritized design improvements
• Collaborate with the React Native, ADF, and WebCenter developers to ensure consistent user experience across channels

Must-Have Skills

• UX research, wireframing, prototyping, and design systems using Figma (or Adobe XD/Sketch)
• Front-end development: HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React (or Angular)
• Right-to-left (RTL) Arabic and bilingual interface design and implementation
• Accessibility: WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance and testing
• Responsive and mobile-first design; cross-browser compatibility
• Integration of front-end components with REST APIs and Oracle ADF/WebCenter skins/templates
• Usability testing and analytics-driven design improvement
• Compliance with UAE Government digital design and service standards

Nice to Have

• Experience with UAE PASS login journeys
• Experience with Oracle WebCenter Portal skins and ADF Faces styling
• Motion/interaction design
• Certifications: NN/g UX Certification, Google UX Design Professional Certificate, or IAAP accessibility certification (CPACC/WAS)
