VA Disability Examiner

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified healthcare professional (MD, DO, PA, or NP) to perform VA Disability Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations for U.S. veterans. In this role, you will conduct non-treatment medical evaluations, review medical records, and document findings to support disability benefit determinations for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person C&P disability examinations for veterans
• Review medical records and service history prior to exams
• Perform focused physical and/or mental health assessments as required
• Accurately document findings using standardized VA templates
• Submit timely, detailed medical reports through the designated portal
• Maintain professionalism and sensitivity when working with veteran populations

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted license (MD, DO, NP, PA)
• Ability to complete thorough documentation and meet reporting deadlines
• Strong communication and assessment skills
• Comfortable using electronic medical record systems
