Vac Trailer Operator

We are a pavement markings company located in Saginaw, Texas with 25 years of experience in the industry . We only work within the DFW Metroplex. All of our projects are performed for city, county, and state government agencies and successful completion of E-Verify is required. We offer competitive wages, paid holidays, and accrued PTO.

We are looking to hire an experienced permanent and full-time driver who will be responsible for safely operating a Vac Trailer.

You will be responsible for:

• Operating vac trailer and associated equipment safely and efficiently
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver hoses and other equipment
• Complete inspection and basic maintenance of unit
• Routine cleaning of unit and equipment
• Monitor equipment during operation and identify any issues and/or safety concerns
• Transport and properly handle materials in accordance with regulations
• Following all safety policies and procedures at all times
• Assist with set up and breakdown of equipment at job sites
• Communicate effectively with management and other crew members
• Perform other related duties to support safe and efficient operations

Average work week is Monday through Friday, hours range from 40-50 hours, busier times of the year you may reach 60 hours/week.

A valid Texas Driver’s license is required; you must be eligible and willing to drive company truck and trailer.

We participate in the federal E-Verify program to confirm employment eligibility of all newly hired employees. Employment is contingent upon verification of identity and work authorization through the Form I-9 and E-Verify process.

Experience:

• minimum 2 years required

Requirements:

• A valid Texas Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Eligible and willing to drive company truck and trailer
• Ability to work outdoors in heat/cold
• Pass pre-employment drug screening
• Subject to random drug screening
• Must pass a background check
• Authorized to work in United States (E-Verify Employer)
• 90-day probation period

Pay:

• Pay based on experience and qualification: $20-30/hour
• For hourly employees - overtime (1.5x pay) is provided for all hours worked over 40 per week
