Vac Truck Operator

About the role

We're seeking an experienced Vac Truck Operator to join our team at Dynamic Hydro Excavations' in Brisbane, QLD. This is a full-time position that involves operating specialised vac trucks to safely and efficiently excavate underground utilities and provide non-destructive digging services to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

• Operate vac trucks and associated equipment to locate, expose and safely excavate underground utilities
• Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on vac trucks and equipment
• Liaise with clients, authorities and other stakeholders to coordinate excavation activities
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Assist with other general labouring duties as required

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience operating vac trucks or similar excavation equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid HR or HC driver's licence and construction industry tickets (e.g. white card)
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
