Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of vacation rental units, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces when applicable
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to meet health standards and ensure guest safety
• Conduct floor cleaning and care, including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and applying appropriate floor care techniques
• Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels for each property
• Use cleaning equipment and detergents effectively while adhering to safety guidelines for manual handling and chemical use
• Dust surfaces, clean surfaces thoroughly, and maintain overall tidiness of the property before guest check-in
• Communicate professionally with clients or property managers regarding cleaning schedules or special requests

Qualifications

• Prior experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work, custodial roles, or housekeeping management is preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures including sanitation standards and surface cleaning techniques
• Familiarity with carpet cleaning methods and outdoor work experience is a plus
• Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks efficiently
• Strong time management skills to complete cleaning tasks promptly without compromising quality
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients or team members
• Basic understanding of cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and floor care products

Pay: $24.13 - $29.07 per hour
