Contribute to real-life client projects within your chosen business unit

4-8 weeks of live client work, structured learning and a team that wants to see you grow.

Build strong networks across the Firm, including First Nations leaders and employee groups

Our First Nations Internship Program gives you the chance to spend your summer inside real client work. The program designed to foster belonging, cultural connection and professional growth. Alongside formal mentoring and on-the-job learning, you'll have opportunities to connect with First Nations leadership and employee networks, build relationships with senior leaders and peers across the organisation, and strengthen skills in storytelling, listening and authentic leadership.

What will your typical day look like?

Over the course of your internship, you'll spend your time contributing to real project work, building your professional skills, and learning how teams across Deloitte solve complex problems for clients. You may work across research, analysis, stakeholder material, and purpose-led advisory work, while being supported by a buddy, coach and Indigenous mentor throughout the program.

Assisting with research, analysis and structured problem-solving across live client engagements

Supporting project work connected to Indigenous organisations, community initiatives, or broader business strategy

Contributing to deliverables, insights and team activities that help clients respond to risk, transactions or strategic change

As well as learning in the flow of work, you'll be part of our structured Vacationer Program. You'll have a dedicated buddy, access to networking and social events, and the opportunity to be considered for an early graduate offer.

We're seeking penultimate-year students to join our Vacationer Program.

You may have all or some of the following:
Curiosity and a genuine interest in learning

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Interest in strategy, risk, transactions and purpose-led advisory work

Comfort asking questions and learning through feedback

Alignment with Deloitte's values and inclusive culture

You'll be studying towards or have completed a relevant degree in Business/Commerce, Law, Mathematics/Statistics, Technology or Engineering.

Program dates: November 2026 or January 2027

Program type: 4-8 weeks paid internship

PR or Citizen of Australia or New Zealand
