Streamline Contracting is looking for a capable and reliable Vacuum Truck Operator to join our growing team in Perth.

We have work ready to go and are looking for an operator who knows their way around a vac truck, can get the job done safely and efficiently, and wants consistent work with a company that is continuing to grow.

You'll be operating our vacuum excavation trucks across civil, construction, utilities, maintenance and infrastructure projects throughout Perth, with opportunities for regional and remote work.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Operating vacuum excavation trucks
• Non-destructive digging (NDD)
• Locating and safely exposing underground services
• Vacuum loading spoil, slurry and water
• Supporting civil and construction crews
• Completing daily pre-starts and equipment inspections
• Looking after your truck and keeping it clean and maintained
• Completing dockets and required site paperwork
• Working across multiple client and project sites
• Following Streamline and client safety requirements

WHAT WE WANT

We're not looking for someone who simply has the licence — we want an operator who knows how to operate.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous vacuum truck operating experience
• HR Licence or higher
• NDD and underground services experience
• Construction White Card
• Good knowledge of plant and equipment
• Strong safety awareness
• Ability to work independently without needing constant supervision
• Good communication with clients and site crews
• Reliable attendance and a solid work ethic
• Willingness to work overtime when required
• Willingness to undertake regional/remote work when opportunities arise
• Ability to pass medical and drug & alcohol screening where required

Experience across civil construction, utilities, mining, defence or major infrastructure will put you at the front of the queue.
